Furniture including outdoor seating, lighting, shelving and acoustic panels have been added to Dezeen Showroom, which is an affordable space for brands to launch products and showcase their designers and projects.
Read on to see the latest products:
The seating is composed of a generously-sized cushioned seat covered with water-resistant outdoor fabric that sits atop a powder-coated stainless steel frame.
The rugs have intricate, graphic patterns informed by Peru’s Nazca geoglyphs, Chinese seals and African tribal art. Made from New Zealand wool yarn and bamboo, they feature an array of saturated colours including orange-yellow and a vibrant blue with green motifs.
The lamp, which is made from delicately ridged corrugated steel, is available in either an earthy cinnamon or a pale cotton finish. Its small footprint allows for it to be used on narrow spaces such as shelves and small tables.
Tray Table Light is a space-saving bedtime light, designed by Gantri in collaboration with lifestyle brand Silvon to promote better night time practices and help declutter nightstands.
The light, which has been 3D-printed from plant-based polymers, is composed of a pleated cuboid light that emits a warm glow. The top of the light is used as a tray to hold nighttime essentials.
The bar is composed of a stainless steel interior with a mirrored finish and a ribbed copper shell. This exterior shell has been left free of any protective treatment to preserve the copper’s antibacterial properties.
The shelving system consists of oak shelves with holes on either side that allow them to slide onto the tubular powder-coated steel poles on the wall, and then be locked into place with wooden wedges.
The tables are available in three types of wood including beech, oak and American walnut. The base units, which come in three different shapes and two heights, are made from bent plywood panels that give them an organic, natural feel.
Together with the six different tabletops, these can be combined into almost 70 different tables.
The chairs are characterised by their angular, faceted shapes, which have been made from injection-moulded polypropylene and fibreglass. The chairs also come with an optional fabric cover.
The panels are made from a high-performance acoustic absorber that resembles felt and comes in two different thicknesses. The brand worked with trend forecasters Colour Hive to create a palette of 26 colours for the range, which can be combined to create playful combinations.
The textile, which has been designed to resemble cloth, can endure regular cleaning and disinfection even with bleach and is available in a palette of 19 bold colours.
Designed for the circular economy, the chair is both recyclable and itself made from recycled milk jugs. It also features removable components that can be replaced if damaged.
